1. Which qualities of personality help an artist to make art and which hinder?

Important qualities for me: hard work, love for my work, loyalty to myself.


2. What is your favorite pastime besides art?

I love to cook. For 10 years I worked in the kitchen as a cook. After leaving that profession, I rethought my approach to cooking and now I enjoy cooking for my loved ones at home.

3. Have you ever had a situation in your life that influenced your art positively/negatively? Or greatly changed your views on what you do?

I was very much affected by a knee injury. At a young age I became CMC in mini-football and won the Russian championship. In the end, I got a serious injury, because of which I had to give up my soccer career. I realized that my favorite activity since childhood was drawing. That's how it all came to be.

4. Who would you like to talk to of any person who has ever lived or is living now? Why this person in particular?

Vasily Vasilyevich Kandinsky — I would like to know what kind of person he was.

Chino Moreno, lead singer of Deftones, and Maynard Keenan, frontman of Tool.

5. How does your art change the world, the culture, yourself?

I enjoy creating fictional worlds, I like to bring them into our reality in the form of images on canvas, paper or wall.


6. What do you think about the future of contemporary art?

Contemporary art is gaining popularity and we are recognizing a lot of new names. In my opinion, contemporary art will take different forms and transform, but it will remain in demand.

7. What do you think about the ups and downs of NFT? Do you have any NFT projects?

In the beginning, when NFT was gaining popularity, I’ve made one project, but now I am not interested in NFT at all, as I have to spend a huge amount of time on it.


8. What is the most valuable thing for you (in the world, in life, in creativity)?

The main thing is that my family and loved ones are healthy and happy.
